Donal Logue has joined Marc Cherry's ABC musical drama pilot Hallelujah, starring alongside Lost star Terry O'Quinn and Arielle Kebbel.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show is from Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry, and centers on a stranger who arrives in the small town of Hallelujah, Tenn., which is being torn apart by the forces of good and evil. He brings with him peace, justice and possibly faith for residents who desperately need the lift.

Hallelujah will be punctuated by songs from a gospel choir, which serves as a kind of Greek chorus.

Marc Cherry will write and executive produce the pilot. Michael Apted will direct.
