DreamWorks and Nickelodeon have teamed up to develop two potential weekly series based on DreamWorks Animation features, Kung Fu Panda and Madagascar.

Kung Fu Panda revolves around a lowly waiter in a noodle restaurant whose shape doesn't lend itself to kung fu fighting; the film will be released in theaters in 2008 and features the vocal talents of Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, Lucy Liu, Dustin Hoffman and Ian McShane.

According to Variety, both shows are in the early stages of development with Tom Martin writing the pilot script for Panda, and Paul Rugg writing the Madagascar pilot centered on penguins Skipper, Kowalski, Rico and Private in a series of new adventures.

No official air date has been scheduled.
