According to Variety, DreamWorks has bought the thriller spec Disturbia by Christopher Landon for Montecito Pictures to produce.
The pic is about a troubled teen living under house arrest who becomes convinced his neighbor is a serial killer.
Jeremy Kramer and Ashley Brucks are overseeing for the studio.
Landon was a writer on "Blood and Chocolate," the teen werewolf pic that Katja Von Garnier is directing for Lakeshore Entertainment and MGM/Sony. He also co-wrote "Another Day in Paradise," directed by Larry Clark and starring Melanie Griffith and James Woods.
