On Tuesday, March 22nd in Los Angeles, Tom Hanks, Kathleen Quinlan and Brian Grazer celebrated the 35th anniversary of the Apollo 13 space mission and the March 29th DVD release of the Apollo 13 Anniversary Edition from Universal Studios Home Entertainment. The event attended by local students included a simultaneous IMAX screening of the film and a live satellite Q&A, moderated by Leonard Maltin, between the California Science Center in Los Angeles, California with Tom Hanks and Brian Grazer and the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida with Captain Jim Lovell and Ron Howard participating.
In celebration of the 35th anniversary of the Apollo 13 space mission and the March 29th DVD release of the Apollo 13 Anniversary Edition from Universal Studios Home Entertainment simultaneous IMAX screenings of the film were held on Tuesday in Los Angeles, California and Cape Canaveral, Florida. Following the screenings a live satellite Q&A between the California Science Center in Los Angeles with Tom Hanks and Brian Grazer and the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral with Director Ron Howard and Captain Jim Lovell took place.
