High & Outside: A Baseball Noir, an indie drama with a baseball backdrop from the team behind 2011's award-winning comedy Stan, have added Eddie Jemison (Ocean's Eleven, Hung) to their eclectic cast which includes Geoffrey Lewis (High Plains Drifter, Every Which Way But Loose), David Yow (Jesus Lizard), Richard Patrick (Filter, Nine Inch Nails) and Phil Donlon (Unbroken, Queen of the Lot).

Directed by Evald Johnson, the film is based on his personal experiences as the son of a Major League baseball player turned controversial manager. High & Outside: A Baseball Noir tells the story of one man's dream to play professional baseball and the desperate measures he takes to keep that dream alive. Johnson and Yow were recently interviewed on the "Up and In" baseball podcast.

High & Outside: A Baseball Noir has been offered the opportunity to film in Sioux City, Iowa, in the home stadium of The Explorers, an independent pro baseball team. The production company (Standard 17) will shoot several scenes including live action sequences at actual games.
