Edward Norton Joins ‘Birdman’

Edward Norton joins BirdmanEdward Norton has signed on to star in director Alejandro González Iñárritu's comedy Birdman, just one day after Michael Keaton, Emma Stone, Naomi Watts, and Zach Galifianakis joined the cast.

The story follows an actor (Michael Keaton) who gained fame and fortune years ago by playing an iconic superhero on the silver screen. In an attempt to revive his career, he stages a Broadway show based on a Raymond Carver short story. Edward Norton is playing the egotistical lead actor in the play, who jeopardizes the success of the show. Emma Stone will play Michael Keaton's daughter, Naomi Watts portrays an actress starring in the play, and Zach Galifianakis stars as the stage production's producer.

Alejandro González Iñárritu is directing from a screenplay he co-wrote with Alexander Dinelaris, Armando Bo and Nicolás Giacobone. Production is scheduled to begin this April in New York.

Birdman was released October 17th, 2014.

Edward Norton is a f***ing legend in my eyes. And Michael Keaton...another cinematic legend. Will keep my eye on this.
