‘Eight Below’ and ‘Syriana’ Take the Top Spots on the DVD Charts

Last week's fight for the number one spot went to the dogs and that's exactly what Disney hoped would happen.

In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, Eight Below took the top spot on "the national DVD sales chart for the week ending June 25." The animal themed title placed 5th in rentals.

Coming in second in both sales and rentals was the The Hills Have Eyes, while Syriana placed third in sales but took the number one position on Home Media Retailing's video rental chart.

Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp's Adventure took the No. 6 position in sales and Night Watch rounded out the lineup at No. 10.
