Eli Roth to Return as the Bear Jew in ‘Inglorious Basterds’ Spin-Off ‘Killer Crow’

Eli Roth to return as The Bear Jew in Killer Crow While doing press for The Last Exorcism Part II, which he produced, writer/actor/director Eli Roth has confirmed that Killer Crow, the proposed follow-up to Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds, is in the works. And that it may be the director's next film.

Killer Crow is the third in a revisionist history trilogy that started with Inglourious Basterds, and continues with Django Unchained. The movie will close out this series of films, and serves as a spin-off of Inglourious Basterds. The story follows a rogue squad of black soldiers during World War II who go AWOL. Their story will intersect with the characters seen in Inglourious Basterds, and Eli Roth confirms that The Bear Jew will return.

"I've known about that project for ten years, so we've definitely discussed it. Quentin knows I'm ready to pick up the bat. I'm always ready to pick up the bat for him if he needs it."

Quentin Tarantino has not yet confirmed what his next directorial project will be. He has hinted that Killer Crow might be it, instead of straying from the trilogy only to return later. Do you want to see Killer Crow next? Or do you want to see Quentin tackle a children's movie, the way Martin Scorsese did with Hugo?

Killer Crow was released in 2015.

@XxNickTheFilmCriticXx It would be, I'm just not sure a child would appreciate it.

Agreed on Kill Bill vol. 3.

Deffo no to a kids movie, this man is a director god n im not keen on kids movies lol :P Loved The Bear Jew, he should have his own movie lol but i think he got Kill Bill perfect the way it is, she killed them all n got her kid back, whats the next stage? Not unless, she has to train her kid to be a total badass n fight against Copperhead's girl (coz they were the same age right?) lol i dunno tho sounds a bit too obvious lol x

@crypt -- It'd be the craziest kid's movie you've ever seen; I'm interested in the idea. But, "Kill Bill: Volume 3" should be his biggest priority.

If Tarantino did a children's movie, that'd be such a waste of his talents.

He better do Killer Crow or Kill Bill vol. 3.

@SherlockHolmes2009 I hope you're right. My only concern is that Pitt might have too much on his plate depending on when the film moves into production.

I heard Tarantino say the only reason he was even able to get Pitt to do Basterds in the first place was because one of the films Pitt was supposed to do fell through. His schedule is usually booked a couple years in advance. He's probably got 5-6 films he's obligated or interested in dong 2-3 years ahead of time, each and every year...

As much as I loved Inglorious Basterds, Im not sure about Killer Crow, but having the Bear Jew back certainly makes it better

@thedude-abides Pitt will return, he said he had alot of fun doing it and was asking Tarantino to do a sequel. @Smitty-werbenjagermanjensen He couldnt do it now, Travolta and Madsen are way too old for it now, although it would have been cool

Looks like Quentin is dead-set on completing his version of the Man With No Name trilogy before he is Kill Bill vol. 3, which is now looking like less and less of a possibility. Regardless, much to Orange's chagrin, I'd say his next project will be one of the two.

I'd imagine that Aldo and the Bear Jew might be the only returning characters, along with maybe Hugo Stiglitz. That's assuming Brad Pitt is willing to return.
