Ellen Page to make her directorial debut with Miss Stevens Actress Ellen Page is set to make her directorial debut with the new indie project Miss Stevens, which has Anna Faris attached to star.

The story follows a high school teacher (Anna Faris) who chaperones a group of students en route to the state drama competition. Julia Hart wrote the original screenplay.

Gary Gilbert and Jordan Horowitz will produce through their Gilbert Films banner, alongside Doug Wald of Anonymous Content. Nicole Romano and Trevor Adley are executive producing.

No production schedule has been given. Ellen Page last starred in To Rome with Love, and she will be seen this year in The East and Touchy Feely.
