Ellen Page to Star in ‘Queen & Country’

Ellen Page joins Queen & CountryEllen Page has signed on to star in Queen & Country for 20th Century Fox. This project is not related to Queen and Country, director John Boorman's follow-up to his 1987 drama Hope and Glory.

The story is based on Greg Rucka's independent comic book series that follows a British SOS agent named Tara Chace, whose identity is compromised after carrying out an assassination.

Ryan Condal (Hercules) wrote the most recent draft of the screenplay, which was previously worked on by John Rogers and Greg Rucka. Peter Chernin and Jenno Topping are producing for 20th Century Fox, although the project doesn't have a director attached at this time.

Ellen Page most recently starred in The East and Touchy Feely. She will next be seen reprising her Kitty Pryde role from 2006's X-Men: The Last Stand in X-Men: Days of Future Past.
