On loan from Grey's Anatomy, Eric Dane takes a co-starring role alongside Owen Wilson, Jennifer Aniston and Alan Arkin for Fox's 2000's adaptation of John Grogan's bestselling memoir, Marley & Me. David Franklin is directing.

According to Variety, Marley & Me is a comedy that features Wilson, an ambitious reporter who moves with his wife (Aniston) to Miami for a newspaper job. Dane will play Wilson's best friend, who talks the reporter into adopting a puppy as a substitute for the children his wife wants to have. But before they know it, Marley morphs from an adorable Lab puppy into an incorrigible handful.

Marley & Me is set to begin shooting this month in Miami, Florida.
