Last night I hit the red carpet for the Season 2 premiere of The Killing, which debuts on AMC Sunday, April 1. I got to chat with series star Mireille Enos, who also talked about her upcoming zombie movie World War Z.

"I think it's going to be awesome. I had an incredible time shooting it. I haven't seen any of the final cuts, but I know they're working away at it. (Director) Marc Forster is really excited."

We reported earlier this month that World War Z was being pushed from Christmas 2012 to an undetermined Summer 2013 release. I asked her when we might see the first trailer, but, alas, she doesn't know, even if she is just as eager as us to see it.

"No, I'm impatient too. I want to see some!"

Mireille Enos plays Karen Lane in World War Z, the wife of Brad Pitt's Gerry Lane, a U.N. ambassador who travels the world trying to stop the worldwide zombie outbreak before there are no humans left on Earth.
