One of my favorite parts of the The Expendables franchise is just seeing who they will add to this monstrous ensemble lineup of action stars. We reported last month that Wesley Snipes and Jackie Chan are in talks to join the cast of The Expendables 3, and, today, we learned about another potential cast member.

While a deal has not been finalized yet, Tom Sizemore revealed to me that he is in contention to play the main villain in The Expendables 3.

I had the chance to speak with him for his new war movie Company of Heroes, which was shot in Bulgaria. When he was speaking about the brutal conditions that Bulgaria has to offer, he told me that he might be going back there for The Expendables 3.

"I might be going back there for The Expendables 3. I'm up for the lead villain. They shot either the first or the second one there, and they're going back there for the third one. I'm up for it, I'm being considered to be in The Expendables 3. How about Sly, coming back like that? Isn't that great? He gave me my first real break in Lock Up. I love the guy. He's never, ever turned his back on me. I don't know if people know that Sylvester Stallone is one of the most decent gentlemen that I've ever met. He's the most consistent friend I've ever had."

Stay tuned for my full interview with the candid Tom Sizemore for Company of Heroes in the very near future.
