Long time screenwriter turned director, Dan Gordon (Passenger 57, The Hurricane), has assembled quite an impressive cast of veteran actors for his feature film entitled, Expecting Mary, which opens in theaters on September 10th. The cast includes Elliott Gould (MASH, The Long Goodbye), Linda Gray (Dallas), Lainie Kazan (Beaches, My Big Fat Greek Wedding), Oscar winner Cloris Leachman (The Last Picture Show, Young Frankenstein), Della Reese (Touched by an Angel, Harlem Nights), Cybill Shepherd (Moonlighting, Taxi Driver, Fred Willard (Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Best In Show) and Gene Simmons from the legendary rock band "Kiss." The film also introduces newcomer Olesya Rulin (High School Musical 3: Senior Year) as a pregnant teen named Mary, who ends up living a trailer park in New Mexico and discovering who she is while surrounded by a group of excentric seniors. We recently had a chance to speak to the stars of the film Linda Gray and Olesya Rulin, as well as some of the supporting cast, which include Hollywood legends Cloris Leachman and Lainie Kazan about the new film, its impressive cast and the film's funny approach to this serious subject matter. Expecting Mary centers around a pregnant young girl named, Mary (Rulin), who was raised with all the trappings of an upscale life. Its only when she finds herself in a small New Mexico town, in a downtrodden trailer park, that she learns the real meaning of love, sacrifice and family.
