Just hours after three new posters debuted, Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for Exodus: Gods and Kings. Director Ridley Scott brings the Old Testament tale of Moses leading the Israelite slaves out of Egypt to the big screen with this star-studded action-adventure, starring Christian Bale as Moses and Joel Edgerton portraying the nefarious Pharaoh Ramses. Aaron Paul, Sigourney Weaver and John Turturro round out an all-star supporting cast in the first footage from this Biblical epic, arriving in theaters December 12.

Exodus: Gods and Kings retells the biblical story of Moses, who, according to the book of Exodus, suffered near death during infancy, was adopted into the Egyptian royal family, defied the Pharoah, freed the Hebrews and parted the Red Sea. Christian Bale and Joel Edgerton lead an all-star cast that also includes Aaron Paul, Sigourney Weaver and John Turturro.
