According to The Hollywood Reporter, Faizon Love, Emily Rios, Portia Doubleday and Michelle Ang all joined the cast of Fox's Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son opposite Martin Lawrence.

Brandon T. Jackson (Percy Jackson & the Olympians: Lightning Thief) and Jessica Lucas (Cloverfield) have already been cast in the film. The franchise has grossed more than $310 million worldwide. New Regency is financing and producing.

John Whitesell (Big Momma's House 2) also is directing the new project, from a screenplay by Matthew Fogel and Randi Mayem Singer.

In this new installment, Big Momma (Lawrence) and Charmaine (Jackson) go undercover at an all-girls school to track down a murderer. Love, is going to play Kurtis Kool, a school security guard and former Run-D.M.C. roadie who falls in love with Big Momma. Rios, Doubleday and Ang are going to play students at the school who make friends with Jackson's character.

The film starts shooting this month in Atlanta at the private, all-girls Agnes Scott College.
