Todd Strauss-Schulson, who made his directorial debut last weekend with A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas, is in early discussions to direct Family Getaway for Warner Bros.

Jeremiah Friedman and Nick Palmer wrote the screenplay, which centers on a seemingly normal man who takes his family on a road trip. The family finds out the patriarch is actually an assassin when a rival hitman comes to take him out. Nick Kasdan was previously attached to direct the comedy project.

Todd Strauss-Schulson's A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas opened in third place at the box office last weekend with $13.1 million. No production schedule was given for Family Getaway.
