Earlier today, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them star Eddie Redmayne shed some new light on Newt Scamander's back story in this spinoff, set 70 years before the events of the first Harry Potter story. While Eddie Redmayne's Newt is most certainly the main character, the supporting cast is chocked full of colorful characters, and today we have our first look at one of them, Ezra Miller's Credence Barebone. The actor is seen in a first look photo alongside Colin Farrell's Percival Graves, and if that wasn't enough, we also have word of a secret new cast member.

Entertainment Weekly debuted this first look photo, revealing that Credence is the "adopted middle child" of Mary Lou Barebone, played by Samantha Morton. The photo has Credence and Graves in an alley that features plastered flyers from the New Salem Philanthropic Society, an organization that wants to abolish all witches and wizards, lead by Credence's mother. Here's a description of Credence Barebone below from EW.

"He appears withdrawn, extremely shy and far more vulnerable than his two sisters. Credence is defenseless against the abuse that comes in response to the slightest infraction of Mary Lou's strict rules. But his loneliness also makes him susceptible to the manipulation of Percival Graves (Colin Farrell), who has taken a personal interest in Credence."

Colin Farrell's Percival Graves is on the other side of the magical spectrum, an auror and the Director of Magical Security in the Magical Congress of the United States of America (MACUSA), which is essentially the American equivalent of the U.K.'s Ministry of Magic. Even though we're finally getting our first look at Credence Barebone, Ezra Miller himself couldn't divulge any more details. Here's what he had to say about his unique character.

"Everything's like CIA-level. If I tell you sh- about my character, I swear there's a sniper up on the roof that will take me out. They told me like two little bits of information about the character [when I auditioned] and I just went in and went crazy, and just talked as if I were this person, who I knew nothing about. But it was funny - there actually ended up being a lot of things like what I was imagining. But getting the role was a moment of absolute ecstatic joy and sort of transcendent sense of completion. I was doing some sort of slightly epileptic dance in the street of New York City, dropping to my knees, crying, praising the heavens, with people looking at me like I should be institutionalized."

Filming has long since wrapped on Fantastic Beasts, but it seems that there was another actress who was cast in a secret role shortly after production began, Zoe Kravitz. The Hollywood Reporter reveals that Zoe Kravitz has a small role in this movie, but there is a possibility for her to return in a much bigger role in the planned sequels. We'll be sure to keep you posted with more details about Zoe Kravitz's mystery role, but until then, take a look at Ezra Miller's Credence Barebone in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
