Fans of the Harry Potter franchise have been waiting for quite some time to return to the wizarding world created by J. K. Rowling. Luckily for them, the wait is almost over, because the very first Harry Potter spinoff movie, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is coming out in just under a month. In case you weren't excited enough already, Warner Bros. has released a bunch of high-res images from Fantastic Beasts.

Warner Bros. recently dropped the photos online, which give us crystal clear looks at almost everything we have seen in the trailers for Fantastic Beasts so far. Not surprisingly, these photos heavily tease Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander, who is the central character in the movie. Not to mention that the studio is likely going to want to put a lot of focus on the Oscar winner, who fans have responded to quite positively already without having even seen the movie yet.

Many of the other central characters are featured in these new pictures, but it is the photos of the Fantastic Beasts themselves that steal the show. In the trailers that have been released, many of the beasts are only shown in brief glimpses that make them difficult to really get a good look at. These new high res stills allow fans to truly get a great look at some of the new creatures from the Harry Potter universe.

Warner Bros. seems to have a ton of confidence in this movie. A couple of months ago, Warner Bros. officially announced that Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2 would be coming out in November of 2018. David Yates, who directed the last four Harry Potter movies as well as Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them will be returning to direct the sequel. Initially, it was thought that the series would be a trilogy, but it seems that J. K. Rowling was able to come up with a bit more of a sprawling and ambitious story, because it was recently announced that Fantastic Beasts is intended to be a total of five movies.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them takes place in New York in 1926 and follows Newt Scamander as he tries to round up a bunch of magical creatures who manage to get loose in the city. In addition to Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne, the cast also includes Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Samantha Morton, Jon Voight, Ron Perlman, Carmen Ejogo, Jenn Murray, Faith Wood-Blagrove and Colin Farrell. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them opens in theaters on November 18. Be sure to check out the new stills from the movie for yourself below.
