This probably isn't how 20th Century Fox wanted this to go! While they've tried to keep a lock on our first true reveal of The Thing in their upcoming Fantastic Four reboot, an early production photo gave us a look at what Jamie Bell's transformation will sort-of look like with a motion capture puppet that was being used on set. Now, an Instagram user has given us our first full look at The Thing courtesy of an international banner spotted out in the wild.

As you can see, Ben Grimm's transformation into The Thing isn't much different than it was in the original 2005 Fantastic Four movie. Like that franchise killer, this, too, will be an origin story. It is said to be inspired by the Ultimate Fantastic Four Marvel comic book series. It will be a contemporary re-imagining of the superhero family, which is one of Marvel's longest running titles. This time out, the plot centers on four outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.

Fantastic Four also stars Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm, Miles Teller as Mister Fantastic, and Kate Mara as Sue Storm. This new international banner shows off the costumes we've seen in previous officially released photos. There's no telling when we'll get an official version of this poster. Until then, we'll have to settle for this shot, with some dude standing in front of it. What do you guys think? Is this super cool or extremely lame? Let us know below.
