Things are revving up on Fast & Furious 7, as the cast continues to come together. There's still no word if Kurt Russell has officially joined the anticipated sequel, but Nathalie Emmanuel has signed on for a significant role.

New character descriptions are being kept under wraps at this time, but its believed that the Game of Thrones actress will serves as part of Dom's (Vin Diesel) new team. The story finds Ian Shaw (Jason Statham) out for revenge, after the crew helped take down Owen Shaw (Luke Evans) in the last installment Fast & Furious 6, which ripped up the box office to the tune of $238 million just this past summer, the highest grossing installment thus far in the franchise.

Tony Jaa also recently joined the project, which will be directed by horror icon James Wan in the first installment not directed by Justin Lin since 2006's The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.

Shooting is expected to begin soon, with a release date planned for July 2014.
