EW's upcoming Comic-Con 2014 issue is proving to be quite the sneak preview for 2015. We've already seen quite a bit from Avengers: Age of Ultron, gotten our first look at Jack Black in Goosebumps, and now we get our very first look at Adam Sandler and company in Pixels.

The first photo finds the comedian suiting up as a member of the Aracaders, a group of expert video game players tasked with taking on an invading alien army. Here, we see him next to his arrogant rival, played by Peter Dinklage and a young protégé played by Josh Gad as they are led into battle by Michelle Monaghan.

In Pixels, aliens misinterpret video-feeds of classic arcade games as a declaration of war against them, they attack the Earth, using the games as models for their various assaults. President Will Cooper (Kevin James) has to call on his childhood best friend, '80s video game champion Sam Brenner (Adam Sandler, now a home theater installer, to lead a team of old-school arcaders (Josh Gad, Peter Dinklage) to defeat the aliens and save the planet.
