Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) breaks free from a hot date to save a proverbial "little old lady" in a new trailer for The Flash midseason premiere, "Revenge of the Rogues", airing Tuesday, January 20 at 8 PM ET on The CW. The trailer gives us another look at the Rogues themselves, Leonard Snart AKA Captain Cold (guest star Wentworth Miller) and his new hotheaded partner Mick Rory, AKA Heat Wave (guest star Dominic Purcell), along with other villains such as Harley Rathaway (Andy Mientus), a.k.a. The Pied Piper, Peek-A-Boo (Britne Oldford) and Reverse Flash (Tom Cavanagh).

The duo plan to steal a multi-million dollar painting, but Cold has another agenda while in town - to set a trap for The Flash (Grant Gustin). Snart and Mick kidnap someone close to The Flash and threaten to kill them unless The Flash shows up for a battle of fire and ice. Barry tells Joe (Jesse L. Martin) he isn't sure he should take on Snart again after the casualties that happened the last time they fought. Meanwhile, Barry asks Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) to help himdouble his training efforts so he's ready for the Reverse Flash when he returns to Central City. Iris (Candice Patton) deals with the aftermath of Barry's confession, and Cisco makes the CCPD a new shield.

In related news, The Wrap is reporting that The CW series is adding yet another DC Comics villain, with Devon Graye signing on to play a younger version of The Trickster. Mark Hamill already signed on last month to play an older version of The Trickster, a member of the super-villain squad known as The Rogues, which includes Captain Cold, Heat Wave, Pied Piper and Weather Wizard (Liam McIntyre). Both Devon Graye and Mark Hamill will debut in the 17th episode airing later this year. Take a look at the new midseason premiere trailer below, and stay tuned for more casting updates.
