Before the midseason series DC's Legends of Tomorrow debuts sometime next year, fans will get to see several of these characters on The CW's current hits Arrow and The Flash. Today we have three new clips from tonight's episode of The Flash, The Darkness and the Light, the first of which gives us a proper introduction to Kendra Saunders, a.k.a. Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee). You may recall that the actress was briefly seen during a crowd scene in the Season 1 finale, but here we see Kendra interacting with Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) for the first time.

Before she becomes Hawkgirl, Kendra Saunders is working as a barista, where Cisco nervously approaches her and asks her out. Unfortunately for Cisco, Kendra shuts him down, but shortly thereafter, his meta-human powers kick in, where he can see a bank robbery already in progress. This sequence gives us our first look at the latest "breacher" from Earth-2, known as Dr. Light (Malese Jow). According to Jay Garrick, Dr. Light isn't a threat on Earth-2 and believes she can be reasoned with, but Barry will eventually learn this is not the case, as she blinds him and drops some shocking news about Zoom.

The second clip reveals Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) on Earth-2, unveiling new technology that will alert anyone when a meta-human is near. His announcement is broken up by Garrick, who warns everyone that Wells is the cause of all the destruction. The third clip takes us back to Earth-1, where someone who looks exactly like Wells is in custody at the CCPD, although Barry knows it isn't Wells himself. This Wells impostor wants to help both Barry and Joe (Jesse L. Martin) take down Zoom, as they both try to restrain themselves from killing this Wells look-alike.

Last week's episode introduced fans to the villainous King Shark, one of Zoom's henchmen. The episode marked the first time this iconic DC Comics villain had been portrayed in live-action, and it seems we may be seeing more of him soon. While the King Shark we saw last week hails from Earth-2, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg confirmed there is another version of the character somewhere in Earth-1. When we will get to see these vicious characters surface again remains to be seen, so keep your eyes peeled.

Aside from Hawkgirl, it has also been confirmed that two more characters from the midseason series DC's Legends of Tomorrow, Falk Hentschel's Hawkman and Casper Crump's Vandall Savage, will be surfacing on both Arrow and The Flash. Other new additions this season include Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West, Michael Ironside playing Lewis Snart, Shantel VanSanten as Patty Spivot, Violett Beane as Jesse Quick, Demore Barnes as Henry Hewitt and Adam Copeland, a.k.a former WWE Superstar Edge as Atom Smasher. Take a look at the new clips before tonight's episode of The Flash, The Darkness and the Light, debuts at 8 PM ET on The CW.
