‘Footloose’ Poster!

Staying in step with the classic 1984 dance drama, director Craig Brewer has decided to keep the iconic topography intact for this first poster from Footloose, starring dance-deprived newcomer Kenny Wormald and the beautiful Julianne Hough as they battle a High School prom hating preacher, this time played by Dennis Quaid. Check out the return of Ren MacCormack and his yellow Bug in the image below. This is their time!

@moviefreak97 I am honestly not expecting it to hold a candle to the original film. I just hope that it is at least a fun film to watch, unlike the remake of Fame which came out two years ago. This movie seems to be filled with a lot of energy from the cast and they have a great director on top of that so this does have a chance at being good. Sure this is a pointless remake but at least it seems like the makers are attempting at making a good film. Thats really all i want, a good film.

                  Typography, not topography MW.

I've never seen the original and I don't really care for this one, but that's a really nice poster.

@moviemaniac66 You aren't alone. I really enjoy the original, but it's not one of those films that is stuck in its time where I couldn't enjoy it today.

and I've been talking to two directions, one for a web-series and the other a motion picture.

                              It's been a confidence buster

                                Waste of time and money.

Ha, I like Glee so back off because of it, it's helped me get off my bottom and find work. I've been in two coke commercials so far.

How many ways can you say "waste of studio budget?" oh wait I know, one way..."Footloose remake"?? Paramount should spend money on winnig back Indiana Jones fans for a fifth and "best of them all" kind of final installment. Who'll sing the title track, Justin Bieber?

@rufio it doesnt matter if it flops, they're still going to keep bastardizing the great movies that real movie fans know and love. and that, my friend, is the goddamn shame of it all. next on the horizon.....'gone with the wind' starring channing tatum......

lol @diaigma !!!!! too funny. and i agree. it looks like a carbon copy remake. if that's the case, why make it?!?! *sigh* the original is still very good. i hope this flops and proves our point.

@mka47 - agreed! stupid glee. lol

@mka47 - watched one episode. Actors in their 30's playing teenagers with a vocal range that slightly trumps Kids-Bop. That was more than enough :P
