It's a little known fact that the original 1985 Fright Night had a sequel simply called Fright Night Part II, starring original cast members William Ragsdale as Charlie and Roddy McDowall as the great vampire hunter Peter Vincent. It may also become a little known fact that there is a sequel to 2011's Fright Night, which gets the title Fright Night 2: New Blood and a direct-to-video release date of October 1. Both sequels have a similar storyline. Vampire Gerry Dandgridge's sister is out for revenge. Only this sequel gets a whole new cast, with Will Payne the third person to star as Charlie Brewster. Sacha Parkinson is our third Amy, and Chris Waller is Evil Ed, though we're pretty sure he's died in every single movie to date. Peter Vincent is back, too, this time played by Sean Power. But, instead of sister Regine Dandridge, we get Gerry's other sister Gerri Dandridge (Jaime Murray), a sexy college professor out for blood. Bloody Disgusting has our first look at this sequel remake. CLICK HERE for a look at the cover art.

By day Gerri Dandridge is a sexy professor, but by night she transforms into a real-life vampire with an unquenchable thirst for human blood. So when a group of high school students travel abroad to study in Romania, they find themselves ensnared in Gerri's chilling web of lust and terror. Charley and "Evil" Ed must stop Gerri from drinking and bathing in the blood of a "new moon virgin," which just so happens to be Charley's ex-girlfriend, Amy. They enlist help from Peter Vincent, the vampire hunting host of a reality show called "Fright Night," to drive a stake through Gerri's plan and save Amy from a fate far worse than death.
