In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, it looks like Twentieth Century Fox has some big plans for their fun loving Chipmunks. The studio plans to bring out Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel on Christmas Day 2009.

In addition to this the studio has moved the "Dwayne Johnson family pic Tooth Fairy from June 2009 to the high-profile Thanksgiving frame. Pic opens Nov. 13."

Fox has also moved "two youth-oriented comedies out of the first quarter of 2009 and" into summer: "Chris Columbus' I Love You Beth Cooper, starring Hayden Panettiere, and comedy-adventure They Came From Upstairs.

I Love You Beth Cooper will open on July 10 and They Came From Upstairs will come out July 31.

Fox also moved Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, "directed by Columbus, out of 2009." It "will now be released July 2, 2010." Ramona will now be coming out July 2, 2010.
