J.J. Abrams fans have something to celebrate as his latest creation will be sticking around. According to Variety, Abrams' new creation, Fringe, was given a back-nine order from Fox, ensuring a complete first season of the hit series.

The show has had the highest ratings for any new series this season, even though some have yet to premiere. Fringe is the second new series to get a full-season order, following the CW's 90210.

The series stars Anna Torv as an FBI agent who, with the assistance of an eccentric scientist (John Noble) and his bitter son (Joshua Jackson) help track strange occurances down all over the globe.
