Freddy vs. Jason: The Freddy vs. Jason event in Las Vegas on July 15th has been changed. Although the press conference looks to go on, apparently the film is not ready to be screened! Here's the official word from New Line Cinema:

"We don't want the fans to see it until it's a clean and finished print. If the winners are local, they will be invited to a promotional screening in the area in the weeks to follow - but again for those that might be coming from out of town - I wanted them to know that the screening part of this promotion has been cancelled for now before they made any costly travel plans."

"If they do choose to attend the event (press conference), they will be the first to watch new interviews with the cast filmmakers and never before seen behind the scenes footage from the movie. They will also receive Freddy vs. Jason prizes, and an opportunity to see the movie in their home town if they are not NV/Las Vegas locals."
