SPOILER ALERT! Ever since the shocking Season 5 finale of Game of Thrones back in June, fans have been speculating about whether or not their beloved Jon Snow (Kit Harington) is really dead. Reports recently claimed he was spotted on set, "participating" in certain scenes shooting in Northern Ireland. But the actor and the producers have not confirmed that Jon Snow will actually be back in any capacity for Season 6. Kit Harington himself threw more fuel onto this speculative fire in an interview with the Belgian publication Humo.be, where he revealed that he's still under contract with the show.

"I often felt frustrated as well. I had to pass on amazing parts because I was attached to Game of Thrones. So the show is like a [double-edged] sword to me: I owe a lot to it, but at the same time it has almost completely drained me. Oh well, I try not to think about it too much. The important thing is that I now know exactly how long I am still under contract."

The news that he's still under contract shouldn't come as a huge surprise, since we reported in October that the actor, along with the "A-level" stars, all re-negotiated their contracts through Season 7. The other "A-level" actors who have signed on through a seventh season are Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister), Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister). Other actors, who are considered "B-level stars," such as Natalie Dormer (Margaery Tyrell), Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) and Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), also signed on through Season 7. When asked to specify how long his contract runs through, Kit Harington had this to say.

"Nice try [laughs]. I can't talk about that. Let's just say that Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while, I'll probably be in my thirties when it's over. One thing's for sure: the day I'm no longer on Thrones is the day I'll bury myself in movie projects [laughs]."

It's worth noting that the actor is currently 29 years old, so if he does stay on until Season 7 then he would certainly be in his "thirties." If Jon Snow does come back, he might not be the only character who is resurrected. A rumor surfaced last month that Stannis Baratheon (Stephen Dillane) will be resurrected, after Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie) took his life. We still have several months left before this new season debuts, so we likely won't find out for sure if Jon and Stannis are coming back until sometime next year. What do you think about Jon Snow's potential resurrection?
