SPOILER Alert! Last week, Game of Thrones star Kit Harington seemed to tease in a recent interview that his beloved character Jon Snow, who was killed in the Season 5 finale, may still be alive. The 29-year-old actor revealed that he will probably be in his thirties when his run on the show ends, prompting massive speculation that his beloved character will be brought back to life in Season 6. While hitting the red carpet at last night's Emmy Awards, actress Maisie Williams revealed that Jon Snow is actually dead, and that interview Kit Harington gave was "fabricated."

"He's dead. Sorry. And the interview you've all read that thinks that Kit [Harington] spoiled it is fabricated and totally false."

Shortly after Jon Snow's death in the season finale, Mother's Mercy, Kit Harington revealed in an interview that his beloved character is dead, and he isn't coming back for Game of Thrones Season 6. Several others involved with the show, including showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, have stated that Snow is dead, but back in July, the actor was spotted at the Belfast, Ireland airport, where the new season is currently filming. Earlier this month, he was also spotted "participating" in the production, although the extent of his participation is not yet known.

The show has reached an interesting point in its run, since it has now caught up with George R.R. Martin's books. The author still has two more books in his A Song of Ice and Fire series, but he hasn't revealed when they will be published. The author revealed earlier this year that he is cutting back on his convention appearances to focus on finishing the books, but whether or not the sixth book will be published before Season 6 airs is not known at this time.

As for Maisie Williams' beloved character, Arya Stark, she did survive the Season 5 finale, but she was left blinded by Jaquen H'gar (Tom Wlaschiha), after taking a life that wasn't hers to take. Since we don't know what happens in the next book yet, fans are just as blind as Arya is, when it comes to information about the new season. But the actress did offer a brief tease about what will happen to Arya. Here's what she had to say below.

"I thought of a really good teaser for my story line, 'Arya may be fighting blind.' Exciting."

We don't know if Arya's blindness will be permanent, or if it is just some sort of temporary punishment from her mentor Jaquen H'gar, but we'll find out when the new season debuts on HBO sometime this spring. Production is still under way, but the network hasn't yet announced when the new season will arrive. Do you think Jon Snow is really dead, or will he be brought back to life? Will Arya remain blind for the rest of the series? Let us know what you think about these burning questions, after checking out Maisie Williams' video interview from the Emmy red carpet below.
