Gareth Edwards recently debuted his first directorial effort Monsters at the Toronto International Film Festival, where he also set up his next writing/directing project. According to Deadline New York, this new, untitled sci-fi thriller is being co-produced by Wanted director Timur Bekmambetov and Jim Lemley.
No story details were announced at this time, but Gareth Edwards described the movie as, "An epic human story, set in a futuristic world without humanity." The untitled project isn't currently set up at a studio, and Gareth Edwards will finish writing the script before it is shopped to various production companies.
We'll be sure to keep you posted with any further information on this new sci-fi project as it becomes available. Monsters will hit theaters on October 29th, 2010.
