George Clooney and Paul Greengrass developing crime thriller for SonyGeorge Clooney and Paul Greengrass are teaming up to direct and produce a currently untitled crime thriller at Sony.

Plot details are being held under wraps, but we do know that the story centers on criminal syndicates in New York. Chris Terrio wrote the script with Paul Greengrass set to direct. George Clooney will be staring and producing with Grant Heslov.

The producers and Chris Terrio last worked together on Ben Affleck's Argo. The project grossed over $100 million dollars worldwide.

Paul Greengrass just wrapped up Captain Phillips starring Tom Hanks and is currently working on the Martin Luther King Jr. biopic Memphis.

No production schedule has been released.
