Last week, we reported that a new documentary entitled Miller's Justice League Mortal will take us through the production of director George Miller's ill-fated superhero project Justice League: Mortal. While the project is just getting under way, it isn't certain when we may be able to see it in theaters. But today we have new artwork from Justice League Mortal that offers a glimpse at a huge fight between Superman (D.J. Cotrona) and Wonder Woman (Megan Gale). The images come from artist Steve Skroce, who had this to say on his Facebook page.

"I'm seeing a lot of art from the cancelled George Miller Justice League film so here's a few boards that I did for the film. It was incredibly fun drawing the DC comics characters which I hadn't had the opportunity to do until then. It's Wonder Woman versus Superman (they have their reasons, mind control!)"

In the script for Justice League Mortal, the villain Maxwell Lord (Jay Baruchel) gets control over Superman's mind, and forces him to go into combat with Wonder Woman. This scene illustrated by Steve Skroce reportedly comes towards the end of the movie, just before Batman (Armie Hammer) breaks Lord's neck. The Justice League Mortal cast also included Adam Brody (The Flash), Common (Green Lantern), Santiago Cabrera (Aquaman), Teresa Palmer (Talia Al Ghul), Zoe Kazan (Iris Allen) and Hugh Keays-Byrne (Martian Manhunter), but the project never went into production due to the writer's strike.
