As production continues on the Ghostbusters reboot in Boston, director Paul Feig has tweeted the official reveal of the new costumes to be worn by Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon. Unfortunately, we only get to see these costumes on the rack. It may be quite some time before we see the actresses actually donning these Ghostbusters costumes on set. We also don't get to see the "proton packs" and other equipment they will use in the reboot.

According to plot rumors that surfaced earlier this month, the story follows Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy's characters, who wrote a book that claims ghosts are real. Several years later, Kristen Wiig's character lands a job at Columbia University, although she is laughed out of her new job shortly after word of her book surfaces. She ends up reuniting with Melissa McCarthy and her new ghost-hunting partner, played by Kate McKinnon, as New York City becomes haunted by a slew of ghosts. Leslie Jones will play an MTA employee who comes face-to-face with the main ghost.

Paul Feig is directing from a script he co-wrote with Katie Dippold, with Chris Hemsworth co-starring as the Ghostbusters receptionist. We've already seen the first photos from the Ghostbusters set, but it remains to be seen how long we'll have to wait to see the four stars donning their new costumes. While we wait for those images to come in, check out this new photo below featuring the Ghostbusters costumes.
