When I was just about 8 I watched all the Indiana Jones movies so much that my older brother hide them from me. I used to say when I grow up I wanted to be and Archeologist.

I deserve this prize because Indy's my all time favorite movie character, Raiders is my second all time favorite movie (behind Star Wars), I dressed up as Indy for Halloween when I was a kid, and I'm all about that fortune and glory. On second thought, you shouldn't be giving away such great prizes. They belong in a museum!

Other than totally loving Indi and watching it on Blu-ray would be life fulfilling..what girl would not die to be able to add an Indiana Jones whip, to her arsenal of outfits. Oh, and hat of course ;)

A lot of filming has been done over the years as well, from films to TV series.

                      @David-Castanuela that's sad.

I've seen all the films in the theaters and a loyal fan.

I'm a big fan of not only Indiana Jones but also Star Wars.

When I was a kid on one Halloween I went as Luke, the year after Han Solo, then one year later as Indiana Jones.

Since I live in the down town area of my home town there's a shop that has the same hat and whip. It's also the same town where Tim Allen's first Santa Clause film was filmed.

Read the books, seen and enjoyed the short lived TV series and because of Indiana it's helped me form my decision to be an actor.

Yesterday I was at the Giant and a woman who knew me came up to me and was surprised to see me alive. She had been a nurse that had cared for me when I was in the hospital. I was playing golf one day 12 years ago. It was December 1st. As I was coming off the 18th green I injured my leg and was taken to the ER.

At the ER they gave me a medicine that had iodine in it. It turned out that I had Graves disease and I experienced a thyroid storm.

It put me into a coma and when I woke up it was 5 months later and I weighed 82 pounds. They had me in IC for 9 of those weeks. After a month they sent me to a rehab hospital for a time and then to another hospital for radiation therapy to kill my thyroid.

Three months after the nuclear treatment they sent me to another hospital for a series of operations on my leg and then back to another rehab center. Altogether I was in them for 42 months.

Financially it was devastating but the worst part was that after I 'woke' up I had no memory. I did not even know my name. To this day I can remember some things that had happened in my life but I also remember things that had not happened.

Needless to say my entire outlook on life has changed. Little things do not bother me at all nor do the big things that bother some people.

I have a humorous outlook on life now. I also live my life differently. I could be a great adventurer like Indiana and the hat and whip would be a nice accompaniment to that end.

                          Thank You. - Popp

I am a huge Indy fan and some of my fondest memories have included watching the 4 movies with my family. I even have the theme song as my ringtone. I used to dress up as Indy as a kid and my dogs name is Indiana haha.

When I was in the third grade I saw the commercial for Raiders of the Lost Ark. I beg my mom to take me to this movie which in my town I grew up in only had a drive in theater. My mom said if I got a hundred on my spelling test that she would take me. So I studied really hard and made a hundred. But guess what my mom lied to me and that she never took me. Only later I was able to see the movie on TBS. So you see I kinda deserve the hat and whip I'm just saying.

I would hang them in my movie room so all my friends could admire them and borrow them for a Halloween party if they wanted to.
