Last week, Fox released a new clip from the Season 2 premiere of Gotham, Damned If You Do, where Jerome Valeksa, a.k.a. The Joker, introduces himself to Barbara Kean (Erin Richards) in Arkham Asylum. Today we get yet another clip from the season premiere, which features The Joker and Barbara in a completely different setting, where we also meet Theo Galivan (James Frain) and his sister Tabitha Galivan (Jessica Lucas), aka Tigress. Somehow, Theo pulled some strings and got Jerome, Barbara and a few other inmates out of Arkham, recruiting them for some sort of a mission.

Given how these inmates react to Tabitha, a.k.a. Tigress' introduction, it seems likely that she had something to do with their liberation from Arkham. All of these inmates are strapped to standing gurneys, but it's clear that Theo means them no harm. Theo goes on to say that he has selected them to work as a team, claiming that the city of Gotham will "tremble" before them. The only problem is, Barbara isn't buying what he's selling, claiming she isn't powerful, although Theo begs to differ. Perhaps we'll see this plan unfold when Fox releases the next clip.

Penguin (Robin Taylor) has taken over as the King of Gotham and after a shakeup at the GCPD, Detective James Gordon's (Ben McKenzie) moral compass wavers, as he seeks help from Penguin. Meanwhile, Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) continues to explore the secrets from his father's office, while Gotham newcomers Theo Galavan and his sister, Tabitha, make friends with some unlikely allies, a group of dangerous inmates from Arkham in the all-new Damned If You Do. The Season 2 premiere debuts Monday, September 21 at 8 PM ET on Fox.

Also returning from the critically-acclaimed Season 1 is Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock, Sean Pertwee as Alfred, Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle/the future Catwoman, Cory Michael Smith as Edward Nygma/the future Riddler, Chris Chalk as Lucius Fox, Nicholas D'Agosto as Harvey Dent, Zabryna Guevara as Captain Sarah Essen and Morena Baccarin as Dr. Leslie Thompkins. Michael Chiklis also joins the cast this season as Detective Nathaniel Barnes. When we first reported on his casting, the character was named Captain Nathanial Barnes, who becomes a new ally to Jim Gordon, so it seems likely that he will rise through the ranks to become captain throughout the season.

You may recall that early set photos showed The Joker outside of the Arkham walls, pulling off what appeared to be some sort of heist. Perhaps this is the first mission Theo Galivan entrusts The Joker and the rest of these Arkham inmates with, but we'll have to wait until the Season 2 premiere debuts exactly two weeks from today, to find out for sure. In the meantime, take a look at this new clip, and share your thoughts about The Joker and the Galivan siblings.
