It has been confirmed! Michael Clarke Duncan will, as previously rumored, provide the voice of Kilowog in this summer's DC Comics adaptation Green Lantern.

Green Lantern is currently in post-production, and only recently confirmed Geoffrey Rush as the voice of Goldfish-headed Tomar-Re. No other voice cast has been announced, though a majority of the characters in Green Lantern are CGI creations. Michael Clarke Duncan received the offer to voice Kilowog today (Tuesday). Negotiations are still taking place.

Kilowog, who is seen snorting on Ryan Reynolds's Hal Jordan in the first teaser trailer, is an intergalactic drill sergeant who trains members of the Green Lantern Corps.

Warner Bros. remains hopeful that they can complete the movie's numerous effects shots in time for release.
