That's a wrap on Chris Pratt! The star who plays Star-Lord, aka Peter Quill, is done with his portion of the shoot on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Director James Gunn announced the news via a new video on Facebook. The filmmaker also used the opportunity to confirm the presence of Guardians 2 at this year's Comic-Con in San Diego.

This special Facebook video was shot and delivered straight from Pinewood Studios in Atlanta. James Gunn introduced Chris Pratt to say good-bye in stellar fashion. The director also goes onto thank the entire cast and crew for all their hard work. He also announces that the Guardians will be landing in Hall H, which indicates that Marvel Studios will have a heavy presence at the con this year. Here's what he had to say about Chris Pratt.

"There's a guy who I've been around for 3 and a half, maybe four years. He's become a close friend. And we've been through a long, long journey together. And I am wrapping Mr. Chris Pratt from the set of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2."

James Gunn passes the mic to his leading man, who immediately asks everyone surrounding him to once again give it up for Chris Pratt. All joking aside, the actor goes onto genuinely thank his hardworking crew. He remarks that they have spent the last couple of months 'busting their asses'. He goes onto praise the movie, promising it is something very special.

"I'm telling you all something. You are now part...They can never take this away from us. This is going to be the greatest spectacle film of all time. And each of us has our name on it, each of us has a piece of it. And for our entire lives, people are going to be really impressed that we did this movie. For the rest of your careers. The reason you're here, is because you are the best in the business at what you do. And if anyone doesn't believe, if you don't believe it, just give it a year and wait for this movie to come out, and you'll see. You kicked ass. And most importantly, I want to do this on behalf of the cast as well, I want to thank James, who made a 90 day shoot efficient, on time, under budget...Nobody ever does that. And it's due to preparation."

With the mic back in hand, director James Gunn confirms that the shoot isn't completely wrapped, and that they still have a 'few more shots' to go. It isn't clear when the entire sequel will wrap. Some of those unfinished scenes include the actor Michael Rooker and the filmmaker's brother Sean Gunn, and there are still scenes with Bradley Cooper's Rocket Raccoon and Vin Diesel's Groot that still need to be completed. This news comes just after it was announced earlier in the week that most of cast had split. Here's what Gunn had to say about coming to Comic-Con this year.

"We have an announcement. We, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, are coming to San Diego Comic-Con this year. We're going to be there. I'm gong to be there. Chris Pratt is going to be there. A bunch of the gang is going to be there. And we're going to show you guys something pretty cool."

The video ends with Chris Pratt teasing that he's going to show something more than just the movie. This is truly exciting news, and perhaps it means we'll get the first trailer. We'll surely see some footage from the anticipated sequel. The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 cast also includes the return of Zoe Saldana as Gamora; Dave Bautista as Drax; Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot; Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket; Michael Rooker as Yondu; Karen Gillanas Nebula; and Sean Gunn as Kraglin. New cast members include Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan and Kurt Russell. Sylvester Stallone and Sharon Stone are also rumored to make cameos. Here's the video from announcing Chris Pratt has wrapped and the Comic-Con plans.
