Bollywood's 'bad man' Gulshan Grover is elated. Come January 2006, he will be off to Prague to play what he calls "the ultimate villain." It's official. The actor is part of the forthcoming Bond film, Casino Royale.
Grover, who is just back from Malaysia after shooting for a film, reveals, "I met the producers in LA a week ago. They are yet to announce this on their official website.
That's because they first want to announce the next Bond. As of now, they haven't zeroed in on who will play the central role. At least 300 actors have been considered for the role."
The villains in Bond films, says Grover, are suave, stylish and unique. "The villain is usually charismatic and has a significant role. In many Bond films, the heroine is the villain's love interest."
