Hailee Steinfeld is confirmed to join Kevin Costner in director McG's untitled action thriller, formerly known as Three Days to Kill.

Action maestro Luc Besson is producing the film through his international EuropaCorp banner alongside Relativity Media. The story follows a dying Secret Service agent who decides to take on one final mission while simultaneously trying to reconnect with his estranged daughter. Desperate to save himself, the agent is also part of an experimental drug study that might prolong his life long enough for a sequel. The drug begins to take its toll when it's discovered that it produces some much-unwanted hallucinatory side effects.

Luc Besson wrote the screenplay alongside Adi Hasak, who gave the world the Luc Besson produced action-thriller From Paris with Love, which featured a big, bald, foul-mouthed John Travolta with a gun. Look for this movie to give Kevin Costner a character a little different than what we've seen him play in the past.

The movie formerly known as Three Days to Kill will begin shooting early next year.
