While quite a few other big trailers and some sneak peek footage did leak out of Comic-Con, one movie that has kept itself off the Internet is The Hateful Eight. And there might be a great reason for that. Back in 2013, right after director Quentin Tarantino finished the first draft of his screenplay, it leaked online. And soon thereafter, the acclaimed director decided to cancel the whole thing altogether. A successful live read of the screenplay changed his mind, though. The film is now in the can, and he showed off the first ever footage in Hall H to much acclaim. While we still don't have any of that footage to show you, we do have the full Comic-Con panel featuring the cast and the director himself.

Some called The Hateful Eight panel the single best live event that happened at Comic-Con 2015. The Q&A was moderated by Chris Hardwick, and saw Kurt Russell, Walton Goggins, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Michael Madsen, Tim Roth, and Bruce Dern all taking the stage. But the highlight of this official footage is Quentin Tarantino gleefully talking about the movie and sharing memories from the set with his cast. Out of all the panel footage, this is one you'll want to watch all the way through, as not a single moment is wasted and it's incredibly entertaining.

In The Hateful Eight, set six or eight or twelve years after the Civil War, a stagecoach hurtles through the wintry Wyoming landscape. The passengers, bounty hunter John Ruth (Russell) and his fugitive Daisy Domergue (Leigh), race towards the town of Red Rock where Ruth, known in these parts as "The Hangman," will bring Domergue to justice. Along the road, they encounter two strangers: Major Marquis Warren (Jackson), a black former union soldier turned infamous bounty hunter, and Chris Mannix (Goggins), a southern renegade who claims to be the town's new Sheriff. Losing their lead on the blizzard, Ruth, Domergue, Warren and Mannix seek refuge at Minnie's Haberdashery, a stagecoach stopover on a mountain pass. When they arrive at Minnie's, they are greeted not by the proprietor but by four unfamiliar faces. Bob (Bichir), who's taking care of Minnie's while she's visiting her mother, is holed up with Oswaldo Mobray (Roth), the hangman of Red Rock, cow-puncher Joe Gage (Madsen), and Confederate General Sanford Smithers (Dern). As the storm overtakes the mountainside stopover, our eight travelers come to learn they may not make it to Red Rock after all...Take a look at the Comic-Con panel
