Hayley Atwell is ready to reprise her Peggy Carter role in the new ABC series Marvel's Agent Carter, but that's not the only place fans will be able to see her. She is also making an appearance in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

We last saw modern day Peggy in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, when Steve Rogers visited his former flame in an old folks' home. For Avengers: Age of Ultron, Joss Whedon wanted to write a scene specifically for the character.

Hayley Atwell explains,

"We went out drinking one night and he was like, 'You know, it would be great to write something for you,' And I was like , 'Yes, Joss, it would! It would be amazing!'"

It was not confirmed if she will be appearing in flashbacks that will tie into Marvel's Agent Carter, which debuts on ABC this winter, or if Steve will be making another trip to the senior citizens' home.

It was revealed by a source close to the production back in April that Chris Evans and Hayley Atwell were spotted shooting scenes inside London's Rivoli Ballroom, where extras were seen doing the "Lindy Hop". Just how spry is old Peggy, anyway?

Back in 2012, Joss Whedon had revealed that he wrote a 'beautiful and poignant' scene between Steve and Peggy that takes place in the present, but it was evidently cut out of the Marvel's The Avengers screenplay and never went in front of the camera. The problem: It killed the story's rhythm.

What do you think? Is this too much Peggy Carter? Or can there never be enough Peggy to go around?
