Tom Welling has the Superman/Clark Kent look, but his acting skills need work. He's always so one note and monotone. The show lacked on numerous levels. I liked Brandon Routh's portrayal of the Man of Steel. The story sucked big time and the addition of a super kid and Lois having a boyfriend was lame. If it was going to be a sequel to Superman II, they should have hired an actress that somewhat resembled Margo Kidder. I was psyched for Superman Returns, but was disappointed. With Man of Steel, I'm not going to even think about it until I see it. I like Henry Cavill. He did a good job in Immortals. At first I was glad that the super suit was updated, but now when I see Superman in his new suit. It seems like he forgot to put on those red shorts. It looks like something is missing.

@rwaite1990 Then why call it a new image? Just common sense.

This can't be a new photo. That is, clearly, Chicago Union Station, and they wrapped that by fall of last year.

....Somehow this reminds me of when Sean Young tried to prove she'd be the perfect catwoman in 'Batman Returns' by dressing as Catwoman!

Hugh Jackman (European actor) did a good job playing Wolverine so this could work.

Henry seems like a humble guy, makes me all the more psyched for Man of Steel.

idk if anyone has ever noticed but USUALLY any British actor playing a character with an American Accent usually does a pretty damn good job, for example: Christian Bale as Batman, Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes(Walking dead), Hugh Laurie as House, Robert Pattinson as Edward(TOTALLY KIDDING ABOUT THIS ONE). But just look at British actors who play with American Accents, they are NORMALY well done. I believe this movie will revive Superman because Nolan is the overhead, Snyder is the director, and i just believe Cavill will do a Great job. I guess we will have to see though with Henry Cavill as Superman and Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man

Yeah, that sounds like a great cast and crew for Man of Steel.

Yes, as long as they don't rush the production of it, and take their time with making it.

I guess they thought that they needed more time to make the movie.
