The 83rd Annual Academy Awards were held live from the Kodak Theater in Hollywood last night, and the excitement level was quite high. The King's Speech walked away as the biggest winner, taking home top prizes or Best Picture, Best Director (Tom Hooper), Best Actor in a Leading Role (Colin Firth), and Best Original Screenplay.

Other big winners included Best Actress in a Leading role Natalie Portman for Black Swan, Best Supporting actor Christian Bale for his role in The Fighter, and Melissa Leo for Best Supporting Actress.
