‘I Hate You Dad’ Gets Directors Sean Anders and John Morris

Sean Anders and John Morris are in talks to direct I Hate You DadSex Drive filmmakers Sean Anders and John Morris are in talks to direct the Columbia Pictures comedy I Hate You Dad.

Adam Sandler and Andy Samberg will star as father and son, with Adam Sandler's father character moving in with his son and causing friction with the son's fiancee. The fiancee hasn't been cast yet.

Sean Anders and John Morris wrote the comedy Sex Drive, which Sean Anders directed. John Morris will make his directorial debut with I Hate You Dad. The pair have also written comedies such as She's Out of My League, Hot Tub Time Machine, and the upcoming Mr. Popper's Penguins.

David Caspe wrote the original script for I Hate You Dad, with a rewrite performed by David Wain and Ken Marino. It isn't clear if Sean Anders and John Morris will rewrite the script themselves.

That's My Boy was released June 15th, 2012.
