The Los Angeles Times is reporting that Consolidated Pictures Group has postponed the release of I Love You Phillip Morris (starring Ewan McGregor and Jim Carrey) indefinitely.

I Love You Phillip Morris played at Sundance in 2009 and was set to be released March 26. Then Consolidated Pictures Group delayed the release date to April 30.

Now a spokeswoman for the film is confirming "that the movie has been delayed again and in fact won't be coming out at the end of the month. She adds that there is no release date scheduled at this time."

The film, written by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa (Bad Santa), examines a love affair between a con man (Carrey) and his cellmate (Ewan McGregor, playing the role of Phillip Morris). The movie has had mixed reactions from fans.
