We just reported that director Jonathan Liebesman plans to convert Wrath of the Titans into 3D after shooting on film in 2D. It seems that Warner Bros. convinced him by showing the director the new advancements in 3D conversion technology, and apparently the studio is using this new technology to convert Inception for a new 3D Blu-ray release. Here's what he had to say from the previous article.

"I didn't want to convert, but Warner Bros. showed me how far conversions have come. You've got Chris Nolan doing Inception, converting the DVD, you've got Harry Potter being converted, Star Wars being converted, so the conversion process has improved dramatically in the past two years."

There was a report from September which indicated Warner Bros. was considering a 3D conversion of Inception for HBO's upcoming 3D channel. However, this is the first we're hearing about a 3D Blu-ray conversion for Inception.

This hasn't been confirmed by Warner Bros. as of yet.
