Adam Goldberg is in final negotiations to play Deep Throat porn star Harry Reems in Matthew Wilder's Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story, starring Malin Akerman as the title character.

Matthew Wilder will direct from his own screenplay, based on the 1980 memoir "Ordeal: An Autobiography," which Linda Lovelace wrote with Mike McGrady. Linda Lovelace became world famous in 1972 due to the massive success of Deep Throat but renounced her pornography career in "Ordeal" and alleged that it had been forced upon her by pornographer husband Chuck Traynor, who will be played by Matt Dillon.

Paz de la Huerta, former porn star Sasha Grey and Harold Perrineau also star in the project.

Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story will start production in early February in Louisiana.
