Focus Features made some changes to its 2015 release slate today, issuing new dates for Insidious Chapter 3 (May 29, 2015) and Selfless (April 17, 2015), while handing out a January 2015 date to Black Sea.

Insidious Chapter 3 was pushed into the summer today after initially receiving an April 3, 2015 date, which is also occupied by The Longest Ride. The horror sequel, which marks the directing debut of Insidious and Insidious Chapter 2 co-writer Leigh Whannell, will now go up against Paramount's Monster Trucks.

The move was likely made due to Universal Pictures shifting Fast & Furious 7, directed by original Insidious filmmaker James Wan, from April 10, 2015 to April 3, 2015 earlier today. No story details have been released for Insidious Chapter 3 at this time, although Stefanie Scott and Dermot Mulroney have recently joined the cast.

Selfless moves from February 27, 2015, where it would have faced Warner Bros.' Focus and 20th Century Fox's Agent 47, to April 17, 2015, squaring off against the Sony comedy sequel Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 and the Disney documentary Monkey Kingdom. Ryan Reynolds stars in Selfless, which follows a terminally-ill billionaire, who undergoes a radical procedure to transfer his consciousness into the body of a much younger man.

Black Sea, the latest from director Kevin Macdonald (The Last King of Scotland), will open in limited release on January 23, 2015, facing the Universal Pictures thriller The Boy Next Door. Jude Law stars as a salvage submarine captain who assembles a crew of English and Russian outcasts to find lost treasure in the Black Sea. Scoot McNairy and Ben Mendelsohn co-star in the action-adventure.
